2013 Concert: Brahm’s Requiem

Is one of the greatest Requiem settings in human history. Originally titled Ein deutsches Requiem, nach Worten der heiligen Schrift, translated: “A German Requiem, To Words of the Holy Scriptures”, this large-scale work for chorus, orchestra, and a soprano and a baritone soloist, was composed between 1865 and 1868.
